Can menopause contribute to Yeast Infection
Base on some study there is no connection how menopause can be a probable cause of yeast infections. It is the EST or the estrogen replacement therapy that can cause rapid infection for yeast.
EST is the most common therapy given to the menopausal women. Some studies also shows that some antibiotics for menopausal women can cause the rapid growth of yeast in feminine area.

What can someone do to prevent being infected by Yeast Infection?
Yeast infection is prevalent to most women, although there are things that they can do to prevent such infections. These are the following:
• Avoid wearing tight-fitting or synthetic fiber garments.
• Wear underwear made of cotton.
• Use a blow dryer in a low setting to dry the genital area after taking a shower or bath and before getting dressed.
• Always practice wiping the front of the vagina after urination. This will keep organisms that live in the rectum from getting into the vagina.
• After swimming, remove the swimsuit as soon as possible.
• Avoid using feminine hygiene sprays if it is not good for use. It is one of the causes of yeast infection.
• Do not use perfumed toilet paper.
